Baris Yoruk is a tenured Professor of Economics at the State University of New York at Albany.  He is an expert in Public Economics, Health Economics, Applied Microeconomics and Applied Econometrics.  He has published more than thirty-five scholarly articles in peer reviewed Journals in the area of health economics, public policy assessment, the interactions between regulation and economic growth.

His consulting work includes analyses related to labor issues ranging from overtime pay disputes and wrongful terminations, the impact of corporate financial performance on corporate health insurance decisions.

He is a Research Fellow at both the Center for Economic Studies-ifo Institute and the Institute for Labor Economics.

Dr. Yoruk has a PhD in Economics from Boston College.
