The Trump administration has announced an end to the U.S.’s longstanding relationship between Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs and the federal government, its contractors, subcontractors and grantees. It has also ordered all U.S. government agencies to “combat illegal private-sector DEI preferences, mandates, policies, programs and activities.” (Executive Order 14173).
