Dr. Timothy Tardiff presented at the 36th Annual Conference of the Center for Research in Regulated Industries held on May 31-June 2, 2017. The CRRI conference features some of the latest developments in telecommunications, energy, postal, and other regulation industries. The article also identifies similar concerns associated with decisions to deregulate historically-regulated industries and in deliberations on whether proposed mergers may have anticompetitive effects.
